Yes, most mechanical components are interchangeable. Both the Roewe i5 and the Malaysian MG5 share the same 1.5L Blue Core engine and CVT transmission. However, body panels (grille, bumpers) and interior software (Zebra OS vs. MG Global OS) may differ. For engine and suspension parts, you can easily source them from MG 3S centers in Malaysia.
