On June 12, at the BAIC Zhuzhou Super Factory, the 150,000th BJ30 Traveler rolled off the production line, and the Highlight Edition launched on the same day. The entire series offers a 30,000 yuan super trade-in subsidy, with the entire series super trade-in price starting from 69,900 yuan, and the Highlight Edition starting from 82,900 yuan.

The main changes for the Highlight Edition concentrate on power and materials. The rear motor power was upgraded from 55kW to 70kW, resulting in faster ramp merging and emergency avoidance response; it is equipped with a dedicated AGM battery, with a cycle life three times that of a normal battery; the overall vehicle charging efficiency reaches 99%. The power architecture maintains the triple-engine four-wheel drive six-mode HEV — 41% thermal efficiency hybrid dedicated engine + front and rear dual motors, with intelligent four-wheel drive response time of 30ms, delivering peak torque in 0.5 seconds.

Regarding fuel consumption, bloggers from South Africa, Indonesia, UAE, Poland, and Mexico conducted independent tests respectively. The BJ30 Traveler achieved fuel consumption not exceeding 5L per 100km in every country, with a range exceeding 1000km per tank. No need to find charging piles, just refuel and go.

Regarding space, the wheelbase is 2820mm, the trunk capacity is 1496L, the rear seats fold down into a 1.92-meter large bed, with 38 storage compartments.

At the press conference, in collaboration with CCTV Finance, a BJ30 Traveler with 150,000 kilometers driven was disassembled live: the engine, transmission, battery pack, and chassis suspension were all in good condition, with minimal carbon buildup, no oil leaks, and no abnormal degradation.
