The Tank 300 models launched locally are equipped with a 2.0L turbocharged inline four-cylinder gasoline engine, delivering a maximum power of 220hp and a peak torque of 380Nm. Power is transmitted via an 8-speed automatic transmission, and it is fitted with an electronically selectable part-time four-wheel drive system (2H, 4H, 4L), which can adapt to complex road conditions such as wading, steep slopes, and rainforests. Its off-road performance has been recognized by local automotive media. This model adopts a right-hand drive layout and is priced at 250,000 Ringgit. It comes standard with LED headlights and taillights, LED daytime running lights, heavy-duty bumpers and wheel arches, skid plates, side steps, and 18-inch wheels, with a full-size spare tire mounted on the rear door. Great Wall Motor plans to launch the first CKD (Completely Knocked Down) project in the ASEAN region locally to reduce production costs, improve supply chain efficiency, and further enhance its competitiveness in the market. Although there was previous news about the plug-in hybrid version having a combined horsepower of 305hp, the currently launched models are fuel versions with an engine horsepower of 220hp.
