In vehicle operation, the left turn signal is activated by pushing down the turn signal lever located on the left side of the steering wheel. Its auto-reset function will turn off the turn signal when the steering wheel is straightened more than half a turn, but manual deactivation is required after minor lane changes or overtaking. For example, when turning left or changing lanes to the left, pushing the lever down activates the left-side lights to flash, alerting surrounding vehicles. Additionally, turn signals come in filament, capacitive, and electronic types, all of which achieve the warning function through stroboscopic flashing. Proper use of turn signals is not only a legal requirement but also a key measure to reduce the risk of traffic accidents. It is best to regularly check whether the light function is normal.
