The lithium-ion batteries (typically 12V or 48V systems) equipped in such vehicles do not provide pure electric driving capability, but they recover kinetic energy through regenerative braking technology to charge the battery, and provide auxiliary power to the engine during vehicle acceleration, start-stop, or low-speed coasting, thereby reducing fuel consumption by approximately 8%-15%. MHEV batteries do not require external charging; their original design intention is to improve energy efficiency while retaining traditional driving habits, so the battery is an indispensable key component rather than an optional configuration.
