Manufacturing defects such as internal porosity in aluminum alloy hubs or uneven heat treatment reduce impact resistance, and such issues can be detected through crack testing during regular inspections. The high-salt environment in coastal areas accelerates the rusting of steel hubs, while frequent sudden acceleration or braking transmits additional torque to the hub joint through the transmission system.
