Fully synthetic engine oil is typically recommended for replacement every 10,000 to 12,000 kilometres or 12 months, whichever comes first. If the vehicle is frequently driven in dusty conditions, experiences frequent start-stop cycles, or operates in extreme temperatures, the replacement interval may be reduced to 7,000 to 8,000 kilometres or 1 to 2 months earlier. Semi-synthetic engine oil is recommended for replacement every 7,500 kilometres or 8 months, while mineral oil should be replaced every 5,000 kilometres or 6 months. Note that during prolonged short-distance driving or when the vehicle remains idle, engine oil is susceptible to oxidation and degradation. Even if the mileage hasn't reached the specified threshold, the oil should be inspected and replaced every 6 months. Regular maintenance effectively preserves the engine's lubrication, cleaning, and cooling functions, thereby extending its service life. If the engine oil appears dark black, shows reduced viscosity, or is accompanied by increased engine noise, immediate inspection and replacement are advised.
