Next, focus on inspecting the oil pump. After disassembly, examine gear wear, pump housing cracks, and the pressure relief valve's operation (standard opening pressure: 0.35-0.45 MPa). The radial clearance between the crescent spacer and gears should be maintained within 0.25-0.80 mm. For the filter, replace it as scheduled and apply engine oil to the sealing ring during installation. Hand-tighten first, then use a tool for an additional 3/4 turn. Pressure testing requires specialized equipment. With the engine preheated to 3000 rpm, normal oil pressure should read 0.3-0.45 MPa. Abnormal readings indicate potential oil passage blockage or pump wear. Notably, approximately 70% of lubrication system failures stem from oil degradation or filter clogging, making strict adherence to maintenance intervals critical.
