TSR (Traffic Sign Recognition) rules refer to the intelligent system specifications for vehicles to automatically detect and interpret road signs through on-board cameras and image recognition technology. In the Malaysian market, this is mainly embodied in the traffic sign recognition function of Tesla's FSD (Full Self-Driving Capability). Based on a pure vision solution, the system uses neural networks to analyze road signs such as speed limits, no-entry, and stop signs in real time, and integrates with the vehicle control module to achieve automatic speed adjustment or stopping. Currently, Tesla FSD is priced at 32,000 Ringgit in Malaysia. This technology falls under the L2-level assisted driving category, requiring drivers to remain vigilant. Its recognition accuracy is continuously enhanced through OTA updates, and future integration with Malaysia's government-led Intelligent Transport System (ITS) may further improve urban road safety.
