If using its high-temperature-specific variant such as JB Weld ExtremeHeat (with a temperature resistance of up to 2000°F/1093°C), it is more suitable for repairing cracks or holes in exhaust pipes. During operation, the surface must be thoroughly cleaned, the epoxy resin mixed evenly and applied, and it can only withstand high temperatures after curing for 24 hours. If the exhaust pipe is severely damaged or located in a high-temperature area (such as near the manifold), It is best to replace the component to ensure safety and emission compliance.
