Prolonged operation under these conditions may reduce the service life of both the engine and transmission. Components of the electronic parking brake system, such as the actuator motor and wiring harness, may also overheat and sustain damage due to continuous electrical current, with repair costs typically ranging from RM500 to RM2000 depending on the severity of the damage. Should abnormal burning odors or increased brake pedal travel be detected, immediately stop the vehicle to allow system cooling and consult a qualified technician for inspection.
