Mazda CX‑5 generasi ketiga serba baharu telah disahkan secara rasmi untuk pelancaran di Malaysia pada 8 Oktober. SUV Jepun yang dinanti‑nantikan ini telah dipratontonkan di KLIMS 2026. Menjelang tarikh pelancaran rasmi, keterujaan peminat automotif tempatan telah mencapai kemuncaknya.

Dari segi konfigurasi trenkuasa, susulan penghentian jualan model LS secara berperingkat di pasaran Eropah dan Amerika Syarikat sebelum ini, kemas kini terbaharu ini telah menghentikan secara rasmi enjin petrol 3.5L V6 twin-turbo LS500 di pasaran Jepun.

Dilancarkan di Tokyo Auto Salon, model konsep ini membawa kepakaran perlumbaan Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) ke atas jalan raya. Berdasarkan laporan industri, versi produksi model ini dijangka tiba pada tahun 2027.
