2026 Honda City facelift preview in Malaysia; PJ, Putrajaya, Cheras, and Sunway; from 4 Sept 2026

The 2026 Honda City facelift will soon make its first-ever public appearance in Malaysia, beginning this Friday, 4 September 2026 at various locations around the country.

From 4 to 6 September 2026, it will be at DKing Durian Wonderland SS2, Petaling Jaya - this stop is unique because the car will be available for viewing at anytime of the day (24 hours). On 4th, another unit will be at Alamanda Putrajaya (North Entrance Esplanade); another at MyTown Shopping Centre (East Entrance) on the 5th September, while one more is at Sunway Pyramid (Orange Entrance) on 6th September.

Aside from the SS2 stop, the public are invited to view the cars from 10 am to 10 pm.

Bookings are already open for the facelifted Honda City in Malaysia. Honda is offering a RM3,000 Early Bird Reward for customers who place their bookings between 27 August and 30 September 2026.

Aside from the new look, it now comes with a 10-inch Display Audio system with Ambient Light, as well as a Multi-View Camera System offering a 360-degree view of the vehicle’s surroundings.

Blind Spot Information with Cross Traffic Monitoring is also now offered across all variants, providing an additional warning when changing lanes or reversing out of a parking space.

No word on powertrain just yet, however its current 1.5-litre NA 4-cyl and 1.5-litre e:HEV RS hybrid mills should go on unchanged.
