The Mitsubishi Xforce is not only making waves in Malaysia — it is proving its global appeal.
Mitsubishi Motors recently announced that its retail sales in Mexico for fiscal year 2025 have reached an all-time high, marking the fifth consecutive year of growth. The Xforce has emerged as the primary growth driver behind this success.

While the overall Mexican automotive market grew by just 1% in FY2025, Mitsubishi achieved a robust 16% year-on-year increase, delivering 29,506 units.
A major contributor to this impressive performance is the Xforce, which is marketed locally as the "Outlander Sport". Since its debut in Mexico in August 2024, the compact SUV has become a runaway success, thanks to its rugged "authentic SUV" design and highly practical cabin space.
For Malaysian consumers, this global achievement comes as no surprise. Since its official launch, the Xforce has created significant buzz in the local market with its class-leading 222 mm ground clearance, premium Yamaha sound system, and spacious interior.
Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has already received over 2,600 bookings shortly after its debut. The strong demand in both ASEAN and Latin American markets clearly shows that the Xforce is perfectly positioned to meet the needs of buyers seeking a compact yet versatile SUV.

In addition to the Xforce, Mitsubishi's traditional pillars in Mexico — the Triton (known locally as the L200) and the all-new Outlander — also delivered solid contributions to the brand's performance.
Kyoya Igarashi, Executive Vice President of Mitsubishi Motors, stated:
"Our strong sales performance in the Mexican market demonstrates that our new model launches are successfuly resonating with customers. we will continue to provide products and services that closely align with regional needs, striving to ensure that even more customers choose Mitsubishi Motors."
Whether in Mexico or Malaysia, the Xforce has proven its appeal through strong order numbers. For the more than 2,600 Malaysian customers who have placed bookings, the focus now shifts to production and delivery timelines.
With its global success, the Xforce is well on its way to becoming one of Mitsubishi's key sales pillars alongside the Triton.
