BYD Seal 6 Now Available in Stylish Sage Green in Malaysia

BYD Malaysia has introduced a refreshing new colour option for the BYD Seal 6 (the all-electric sedan launched last September) — the elegant Sage Green. Inspired by nature, this new shade reflects BYD's global "Cool the Earth by 1°C" mission, promoting sustainable and cleaner mobility.

The Seal 6 continues to be offered in two variants with unchanged on-the-road prices (excluding insurance):

• Seal 6 Dynamic — RM100,000
• Seal 6 Premium — RM115,800

With the addition of Sage Green, customers now have four attractive colour choices: Arctic White, Harbour Grey, Misty Blue, and the new Sage Green.

C-Segment Positioning: Compact Yet Spacious

Measuring 4,720 mm in length with a 2,820 mm wheelbase, the Seal 6 sits comfortably in the C-segment. Slightly shorter and narrower than its bigger sibling, the BYD Seal, it offers a taller and more upright stance, providing excellent cabin comfort. In Malaysia, it serves as a strong electric alternative to popular petrol sedans like the Honda Civic.

Performance & Range

Both variants are equipped with a 56.64 kWh Blade LFP Battery, delivering a WLTP range of up to 410 km.

• Dynamic: 129 PS / 220 Nm, 0–100 km/h in 10.9 seconds
• Premium: 218 PS / 330 Nm, 0–100 km/h in 7.5 seconds

Charging is efficient with 100 kW DC fast charging (30% to 80% in 23 minutes) and it also supports 3.7 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality — perfect for powering appliances during outdoor trips.

Localized Features

The Seal 6 features a rotating touchscreen with full Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. A notable highlight for Malaysian buyers is the voice command system, which understands English, Malay, Mandarin, and Cantonese — making it well-suited for our multicultural society.

Safety

Safety is well-covered with 6 airbags and a comprehensive ADAS suite, including Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, and a 360-degree panoramic camera.
