Following the Philippines, DEEPAL S05 / S07 Officially Launched in Poland, Expected to Arrive in Malaysia by Year-End?

Changan Automobile's DEEPAL brand is accelerating its global expansion! Following its high-profile entry into the Philippine market last month, DEEPAL officially announced recently that its two core models, the DEEPAL S05 and DEEPAL S07, have been launched in Poland, marking a further expansion of the brand's footprint in the Central European market.

Unstoppable Sales Momentum: S05 Becomes a Global "Hit" 

According to the latest data from DEEPAL, the DEEPAL S05 has shown incredible growth momentum:

Global Sales in April: 17,269 units, a year-on-year increase of 96.1%.

Cumulative Performance: Total global sales have exceeded 200,000 units, with average monthly sales steadily surpassing 10,000 units. 

Success in Europe: In Spain, the S05 has topped the registration charts for compact pure electric SUVs for two consecutive months, proving its product strength in the rigorous European market.

Southeast Asian Strategy: Flag Planted in the Philippines, Is Malaysia the Next Stop? 

In April this year, DEEPAL officially landed in the Philippines, offering both BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) and REEV (Range Extended Electric Vehicle) powertrain options. For Malaysian car enthusiasts, the more crucial information is that the Right-Hand Drive (RHD) version of the S05 was already launched in the UK in March this year.

According to earlier local news, DEEPAL is set to arrive in Malaysia by the end of the year. With the Thai factory officially operational as a right-hand drive production hub, it is highly probable that the S05 and S07 will be introduced via CKD (Completely Knocked Down) local assembly to achieve more competitive pricing. The market generally speculates that the DEEPAL brand is expected to make its official debut in Malaysia in the fourth quarter (year-end) of 2026.
