Tesla Malaysia has opened its Supercharger network to all non‑Tesla electric vehicles across four busy locations in the Klang Valley, making high‑speed DC fast charging more accessible for local EV owners.

Open Locations (Klang Valley)

- Shah Alam – i‑City Finance Avenue
- Kuala Lumpur – Pavilion KL
- Putrajaya – IOI City Mall
- Dengkil – Gamuda Cove

Charging Info for Non‑Tesla Users

- Rate: RM1.80 per kWh
- Congestion fee: up to RM2.00 per minute (when busy)
- Connector: CCS2 (compatible with most modern EVs in Malaysia)
- Max power: 250 kW (ultra‑fast charging)

How to Use (Simple Steps)

- Download the Tesla app (iOS / Android)
- Sign up for a free Tesla account
- Go to Charge Your EV and select your station
- Add a payment card
- Plug in your car
- Choose a stall and tap Start Charging
- Tap Stop Charging when done

For existing Tesla owners who wish to charge their non‑Tesla electric vehicles, simply open the Tesla app, access the top‑right menu, and select the ‘Charge Your Other EV’ option to begin charging.

Additionally, Tesla is currently running its ‘Get Supercharged’ promotion, where participants stand a chance to win 1,500 km of free Supercharging credits by joining the contest. This move to open Superchargers to other EV brands also fulfils one of Tesla’s commitments under Malaysia’s BEV Global Leaders programme, which was part of the conditions for its AP exemption; the company is required to install at least 50 DC fast chargers with a minimum output of 180 kW, with at least 30% of these chargers made publicly accessible for use by all electric vehicle brands.
