Xiaomi's First Range-Extended Full-Size SUV Spotted – Probably Named Skynomad N90

Recently, a fresh set of spy shots of Xiaomi's first range-extended full-size SUV has surfaced online. Xiaomi has previously registered the trademarks "SKYNOMAD" and "Xuntian". However, the latest spy images suggest that "Xuntian" (Skynomad) is unlikely to be an independent sub-brand as previously speculated. Instead, it is more likely the name of a new standalone product series under Xiaomi EV.

The new SUV adopts a predominantly boxy and rugged design language. The front fascia features a fresh design with sharp headlights that differ significantly from the SU7 and YU7. A LiDAR sensor is clearly visible on the roof, indicating strong potential for advanced intelligent driving systems.

The vehicle also retains several signature Xiaomi design elements, such as the distinctive pebble-shaped (waterdrop) side mirrors. Based on the taillight layout, it will feature vertical taillights and a split-opening (clamshell) tailgate.

In terms of powertrain, the new model will be powered by a range-extended electric system, equipped with a large battery pack exceeding 70 kWh, promising a pure electric range of 400 to 500 km.
