Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has officially announced the launch of the Triton Championship Edition on 11th March, in celebration of the brand's victory at the 2025 Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR). Available in two variants – Athlete and AT Premium – the special edition is limited to a total of 270 units, all featuring exclusive motorsport elements, striking a perfect balance between collectibility and practicality.

The Triton Athlete variant is limited to 150 units, priced at RM 169,980. It comes in a glossy black finish, fitted with exclusive body decals and all-terrain tyres. The interior is upgraded with a 9-inch infotainment system and a 360° all-round monitor, paired with championship edition headrest covers. Powering the model is a 2.4L bi-turbo diesel engine that delivers 204PS and 470Nm of torque, mated to the Super Select 4WD-II system and seven driving modes, boasting unrivalled off-road performance.

The Triton AT Premium variant is limited to 120 units, priced at RM 155,980, and is available exclusively in white. It is equipped with 18-inch black sport rims, a styling bar, and also features exclusive decals and championship edition headrest covers. This variant is powered by a 2.4L single-turbo diesel engine with an output of 184PS and 430Nm of torque, paired with the Easy Select 4WD system, making it ideal for both business and daily use.

Both new models feature an all-new chassis and tuned suspension, inheriting Mitsubishi's motorsport technology. Customers who purchase the special edition will receive an exclusive key cover and a motorsports sticker set. Powered by the Hyperpower 4N16 clean diesel engine, the models balance power and efficiency, infusing Mitsubishi's off-road racing heritage into a production vehicle and offering a unique choice for pickup enthusiasts.
