Following the public preview at the end of 2025 and the successful conclusion of the media test drive in February 2026, Jetour Malaysia has recently officially launched its third SUV model — Jetour T2.
As an important masterpiece for the brand to deepen its layout in the Malaysian market, this rugged SUV is introduced in Completely Built-Up (CBU) form, offering only the 2.0T XWD variant with an official price of RM 156,800.

This price is RM 22,088 lower than the previously estimated RM 178,888. With its affordable pricing and powerful configuration, the Jetour T2 is expected to become a strong competitor in the mid-size rugged SUV market.
As an independently operated SUV brand under the Chery Group, Jetour is managed separately from Chery, Jaecoo and other brands in the Malaysian market.
Since entering the local market in April 2024, the brand has always centered on the "Travel+" travel concept, committed to providing travel solutions that balance exploration and daily practicality.
The newly launched Jetour T2 inherits the brand's rugged genes, caters to the diverse needs of Malaysian consumers for SUVs, and is also an important start for the brand's T-series layout in the local market.
In terms of exterior design, the Jetour T2 exudes a rugged and tough off-road temperament, with an overall style leaning towards American ruggedness. Its front face resembles the Ford Bronco Sport, while integrating its own unique design language.

It differentiates itself from classic off-road vehicles such as Land Rover and Land Cruiser. Elements such as black body cladding, roof racks, and side steps further enhance its rugged attributes.

The side-opening tailgate paired with a temporary spare tire in the trunk balances practicality and off-road ritual sense; the new car is available in three colors: Khaki White, Aviation Silver and Carbon Black, with fluorescent yellow decorative details that maximize visual recognition.
In terms of power, the Jetour T2 is equipped with a transversely mounted 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, with a maximum power of 254 horsepower and a maximum torque of 390 Nm, matched with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), delivering abundant and smooth power.
The Jetour T2 is equipped with Jetour's exclusive XWD full-time four-wheel drive system, adopting BorgWarner's 6th-generation intelligent torque manager, which can work in conjunction with the intelligent creep mode and intelligent X driving mode.

The intelligent X driving mode can automatically switch between six modes including Economy, Normal, etc., allowing even off-road novices to cope with complex road conditions with ease; its 700mm water wading depth, combined with excellent passability parameters, makes its off-road capability impressive.
It is worth noting that despite adopting a unibody structure, the Jetour T2 still performs excellently in off-road passability.
In terms of interior and configuration, the Jetour T2 takes a simple and practical route, with a 15.6-inch large-size infotainment display as the core of the center console, supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Paired with 12 Sony brand speakers, it can create an immersive audio-visual experience; unlike most models in the same class, this car retains physical buttons for the air conditioning system, which are easy to operate and not prone to misoperation.

Artificial leather seats, front ventilated memory seats, wireless charger, panoramic sunroof and other features are all standard. The interior is only available in black with silver trim, which is simple yet textured.
In terms of safety, the Jetour T2 has obtained a 5-star ASEAN NCAP rating and is equipped with Level 2 ADAS advanced driver assistance system to ensure driving safety.
The system includes multiple functions such as Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward/Reverse Collision Warning (F/RCW), etc.
It is also equipped with Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) to fully protect the safety of drivers and passengers.

In terms of pricing and after-sales service, the affordable pricing of the Jetour T2 is a major highlight. Since pre-orders opened in November 2025, it has received more than 2,000 orders.
The first 3,000 registered customers will enjoy a RM 2,000 cash rebate, further improving cost performance.
The after-sales policy is also full of sincerity. The new car comes with a 7-year/150,000-kilometer whole vehicle warranty, a 10-year/1,000,000-kilometer engine warranty, and 5 free maintenance services, greatly reducing the owner's vehicle usage cost.
Nicholas Ng, Vice President of Sales, After-Sales and Logistics at Jetour Malaysia, stated that Malaysia's diverse natural landforms and self-driving culture are highly consistent with Jetour's "Travel+" strategy.
He emphasized that the Jetour T2 is positioned as an all-round SUV that balances daily commuting and outdoor exploration.
It is reported that 2026 will be a "product year" for Jetour in Malaysia. The brand will subsequently introduce the flagship SUV G700 and promote the CKD local assembly project.
In the future, Malaysia is expected to become a regional production base for Jetour's right-hand drive market.
The official launch of the Jetour T2 has enriched the brand's product lineup in Malaysia and also provided local consumers with a new cost-effective option for rugged SUVs.
With its powerful off-road performance, rich intelligent configuration and affordable pricing, it is expected to stand out in the highly competitive SUV market.
At the same time, the launch of this model will further enhance Jetour's brand influence in the Malaysian market.
