Chinese NEV brand iCaur has achieved a significant milestone in Malaysia, delivering over 1,800 vehicles since its official local debut in May 2025. The brand, which focuses on off-road electric vehicles, has quickly gained traction among local drivers who value unique design, performance and a distinctive ownership experience.
iCaur’s Malaysian lineup kicked off with the 03 model, launched in September 2025, followed by the V23 in November the same year – a Retro Edition of the V23 was later added to cater to drivers who prefer a classic aesthetic. Both models are positioned as off-road NEVs, blending rugged styling with electric efficiency, a combination that has resonated with local car buyers seeking individuality.

“Reaching 1,800 vehicles on Malaysian roads is a meaningful moment for iCaur Malaysia. It reflects the connection we are building with drivers across the country who appreciate distinctive design, performance and an ownership experience that feels expressive,” said Francis Chin, senior director of iCaur Malaysia. “As we grow, we aim to lead the local off-road NEV segment, appealing to a generation that values individuality, self-expression, and innovation.”

To celebrate the milestone, iCaur Malaysia recently hosted a gathering for its owners, marking the handover of the 1,800th and 1,801st vehicles. The event also saw the launch of the iCaur Malaysia Owners Club – the brand’s first official owners club in the country.

“Our Malaysian customers embrace the ‘Born to Play’ spirit, which mirrors how they drive and live their lives,” said Daniel Lai, marketing director of iCaur Malaysia. “The iCaur Malaysia Owners Club is our way of creating more opportunities for owners to connect, share their driving experiences, and shape the brand’s journey in Malaysia together.”
