Proton's 2026 Saga MC3 has achieved a remarkable sales milestone, with cumulative deliveries exceeding 10,000 units since its official launch in Malaysia. The model recorded an impressive 7,975 units delivered last month alone, underscoring its strong popularity among local car buyers. Notably, Proton announced that the new Saga had secured over 30,000 bookings within just one week of its debut.
The 2026 Saga MC3 is offered in three variants: Standard, Executive, and Premium, priced at RM37,990, RM43,990, and RM48,990 respectively. All prices include a RM1,000 launch rebate, making it highly competitive in Malaysia's entry-level sedan market.
Built on Proton's Advanced Modular Architecture (AMA) platform, the new Saga features a complete redesign of both its exterior and interior. Key upgrades include LED headlight assemblies, a digital instrument cluster paired with a central touchscreen (dual-screen setup), and enhanced interior materials. The range-topping Premium variant exclusively comes with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) and Blind Spot Detection (BSD), setting new safety standards for the segment.
