The Ministry of Finance has announced the fuel price updates for the coming week. Peninsular Malaysia sees a significant hike in diesel prices, while RON 97 petrol receives a slight price reduction.

Fuel Prices at a Glance (Per Litre): 

RON 95 (Budi95 Subsidised): RM1.99 (Unchanged) 

RON 95 (Non-Subsidised): RM3.87 (Unchanged)

RON 97: RM4.95 (Down 20 sen)

Diesel (Peninsular B10/B20): RM6.02 (Up 50 sen)

Diesel (East Malaysia): RM2.15 (Unchanged)

Key Highlights:

Diesel Price Spike: Diesel prices (B10/B20) in Peninsular Malaysia have surged to RM6.02. Consequently, the price for Euro 5 B7 diesel is now RM6.22.

Cash Assistance: The "Budi Madani" monthly diesel aid remains at RM300 for April. 

RON 95 Quota Adjustment: Under the Budi95 program, the subsidised RON 95 quota has been officially revised to 200 litres per month, effective April 1.

Effective Date: These adjusted prices will be in effect from midnight, April 2, 2026, until April 8, 2026.
