GWM's HAVAL brand is making waves once again. Zhang Fuzhi, Deputy General Manager of HAVAL Marketing, recently shared a teaser image of an all-new flagship SUV on social media, igniting heated discussions among car enthusiasts. The new model adopts a trendy "boxy" silhouette and is expected to deliver a major breakthrough for HAVAL in the field of intelligent driving.

Based on the teaser, this flagship SUV adopts a bold and robust design language:
Front End: It features highly recognizable rectangular through-type headlights that give it a strong, modern presence.
Grille: The semi-closed grille is paired with a chunky lower bumper, creating a powerful and commanding stance.
The Highlight: A prominent LiDAR sensor mounted on the roof stands out as the most significant feature. This hardware is essential for high-level Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), clearly positioning the model as HAVAL's new flagship.
GWM Chairman Wei Jianjun recently revealed in a video that the new SUV may be named either HAVAL H10 or HAVAL HX. In addition, the brand has officially launched a public "naming campaign", inviting car enthusiasts to submit creative name suggestions for the upcoming model.

While the new SUV is currently generating significant buzz in the Chinese market, it is definitely a model worth watching for Southeast Asia, including Malaysia. Given GWM Malaysia's aggressive expansion with popular models such as the HAVAL H6 HEV and Jolion, there is a strong possibility that this new flagship could eventually be introduced as a global model in the Malaysian market.
