According to insiders, the high-performance M variant of the next-generation Neue Klasse iX3 — the iX3 M60 xDrive (codenamed NA5) — is officially scheduled to enter production in March 2027.

"X5 M" Level Output: The iX3 M60 is expected to be equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering between 620 hp and 630 hp. For context, the current X5 M Competition (F95) produces 625 hp. This means BMW is packing flagship-level power into the more agile X3 body.

800V Ultra-Fast Charging: Built on the Neue Klasse platform, the iX3 M60 will feature an 800V high-voltage architecture. It promises game-changing charging performance — adding up to 300 km of range in just 10 minutes.

Performance Hardware: To handle such immense power, the M60 is expected to come standard with the M Adaptive Suspension system, striking an excellent balance between everyday comfort and sharp, dynamic handling.
