Gear up, car enthusiasts! The most anticipated event in the Malaysian automotive calendar — the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS 2026) — is back!
The official KLIMS Facebook page has just released a teaser unveiling the first wave of participating brands. As of now, 16 car brands have confirmed their participation at MITEC (Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre) from 12 to 21 June 2026.

Dongfeng, GWM, Honda, Hyundai, Jetour, Kia, Mazda, MG, Nissan, Perodua, Proton (including Proton e.MAS), smart, Toyota, Weststar Maxus, Xpeng, and Zeekr.
This year's lineup includes several highly anticipated brands such as Dongfeng, Jetour, XPeng, and Zeekr. With these marques actively expanding in Malaysia, visitors can expect a strong showcase of cutting-edge EVs and futuristic concept cars.
The national duo — Proton and Perodua — are of course confirmed. Notably, Proton will be showcasing its new EV sub-brand, e.MAS, signalling that the battle for domestic EV dominance is set to take centre stage at KLIMS 2026!
Sharp-eyed readers may have noticed that several major brands are missing from the initial list, including BYD, Chery, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Tesla. While these names have not been confirmed yet, there are still two months to go before KLIMS 2026 officially kicks off in June. It remains possible for them to make a last-minute entry. Let's wait and see which big players will ultimately join the show!
