At the 2026 Beijing Auto Show (Auto China 2026) that opens today, Porsche finally takes the wraps off the highly anticipated All-Electric Cayenne Turbo. Codenamed "Electric", this new flagship SUV maintains the commanding silhouette of the Cayenne lineage while redefining performance within the luxury electric segment.

The new model adopts Porsche's latest EV design language, centered around the signature four-point LED daytime running lights (DRLs).
Active Aerodynamics: The front apron features vertical active shutters that intelligently modulate airflow for optimal cooling and aerodynamic efficiency.
Aggressive Stance: The SUV sits on massive 22-inch multi-spoke wheels framed by blacked-out wheel arches, housing Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) as standard equipment.
Rear Profile: A sharper, full-width LED light bar and a prominent rear diffuser emphasize its sporty vibe.

The cabin draws inspiration from the Taycan while elevating the sense of luxury.
Triple-Screen Array: The dashboard is dominated by a 14.6-inch curved digital instrument cluster, a 12.25-inch central touchscreen, and a 14.9-inch passenger display.
Augmented Reality: An optional 87-inch AR-HUD projects navigation data directly onto the driver's field of vision.
Tactile Ergonomics: Porsche has wisely retained physical switches for critical functions, ensuring intuitive operation and a premium haptic feel while driving.

The electric Cayenne arrives in Electric and Turbo Electric variants.
Turbo Electric: Delivers a staggering 857 PS (up to 1,156 PS with Launch Control) and 1,500 Nm of torque.
Acceleration: 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, with a quarter-mile time of 9.9 seconds.
Equipped with a 114 kWh battery, the SUV supports a 10%-80% charge in just 16 minutes. It also features 11 kW wireless charging and a 600 kW energy recovery system derived from Porsche's Formula E program.

While the model currently on display is a China-spec version, we expect a swift rollout for our market. Given the historical pace of Porsche Malaysia, the all-electric Cayenne is highly likely to make its local debut in late 2026 or early 2027.
