Denza has officially launched the highly anticipated second-generation Denza D9. The new lineup comprises six variants, including both PHEV and EV models, with official pricing ranging from RMB 359,800 to 459,800 (approx. RM208,400 – RM266,400).
As a comprehensive generational update, the 2nd-gen D9 features BYD's 2nd-generation Blade Battery, delivering industry-leading breakthroughs in both intelligent driving and charging efficiency.

While retaining the acclaimed π-Motion design language, the new D9 introduces refined details. The updated grille, now featuring enhanced chrome accents, offers a more layered, three-dimensional aesthetic that seamlessly blends executive elegance with a modern technological edge.
With a 5,250 mm profile and a 3,110 mm wheelbase (5250/1960/1900 mm), the vehicle ensures generous headroom across all three rows.

The centerpiece of this release is the revolutionary charging capability.
Ultra-Fast Charging: The new D9 can charge from 10% to 70% in just 5 minutes, setting a new industry benchmark for MPV efficiency.
Impressive Range: The PHEV (DM-i) variant boasts a pure electric range of over 401 km (CLTC), while the EV version, equipped with a 115 kWh battery, offers a maximum range of 800 km (CLTC).
The cabin retains its classic T-shaped layout but receives significant luxury upgrades. The second row remains a first-class level, complete with aviation-grade seats, folding tables, and a multi-screen entertainment system.
On the tech front, the new D9 comes standard with BYD's God's Eye 5.0 Intelligent Driving System. Powered by 3 LiDAR sensors and 12 cameras, it supports full-scenario automated parking, Highway/City NOA, and AEB (Automatic Emergency Braking) at speeds up to 120 km/h.

The PHEV version pairs a 1.5T engine (115 kW) with dual motors (Front 200 kW, Rear 45 kW). The EV version is available in both single-motor and dual-motor AWD configurations.

As a formidable challenger to the Alphard and Vellfire, the 2nd-gen Denza D9 heralds the "Flash Charge Era" for Chinese new energy MPVs. With deliveries set to begin in mid-May and Denza's active expansion into Southeast Asia, this high-tech luxury MPV is expected to make its Malaysian debut very soon.
