It's Wednesday again! The Ministry of Finance has just announced the retail fuel prices for the week of April 30 to May 6, 2026.
Amid recent global crude oil fluctuations, petrol prices have been adjusted upward this week, while diesel prices remain unchanged.

RON 95 (BUDI95 Subsidised Price): Remains unchanged at RM1.99 per litre.
Note: Eligible Malaysians with a valid driving licence can enjoy this subsidised rate, with a monthly quota temporarily maintained at 200 litres due to global supply constraints.
RON 95 (Unsubsidised/Market Price): Increased by 10 sen to RM3.97 per litre (from RM3.87).
RON 97: Increased by 5 sen to RM4.90 per litre (from RM4.85).

Peninsular Malaysia (B10/B20): Remains at RM5.12 per litre.
Peninsular Malaysia (Euro 5 B7 blend): Remains at RM5.32 per litre (usually 20 sen higher than standard diesel).
East Malaysia (Sabah, Sarawak, Labuan): Remains at RM2.15 per litre.
Diesel Subsidy Updates:
The government has raised the Budi Madani diesel cash assistance to RM400 per month in April. The latest RM100 top-up was disbursed on April 21. This is the second additional aid this year, following the increase from RM200 to RM300 in March, aimed at helping eligible individuals, farmers, and smallholders cope with fluctuating fuel prices.
These new fuel prices will take effect from midnight tonight (12:00 AM, April 30, 2026) and remain valid until next Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
