Geely Auto Group has released its sales report for April 2026. Despite fierce market competition, the group continued to show strong resilience, recording 235,164 vehicle deliveries for the month. The most impressive highlight was overseas exports, which skyrocketed by 245% year-on-year.

Thanks to Geely's "Multi-brand, High-quality" strategy, all its sub-brands performed strongly in April.
In April, Geely's total NEV sales reached 136,000 units, achieving a penetration rate of 57.7% — a clear testament to the group's successful transformation into a global leader in electrification.

Geely's export volume hit a record 83,186 units in April, representing explosive 245% year-on-year growth. This strong performance highlights the global recognition of Geely's advanced platforms, such as SEA and CMA.
As Geely's key strategic partner in Southeast Asia, Proton also posted impressive results for April.
The Proton Saga remained a top performer with 8,207 units sold, while the new e.MAS sub-brand achieved a record 3,420 units. The e.MAS 7 PHEV emerged as the best-selling PHEV in Malaysia for the month.

Geely's robust global growth — particularly the sharp rise in NEV and export figures — is excellent news for Malaysian consumers. As more advanced PHEV and EV technologies are shared within the group, we can expect even more competitive and locally assembled products, such as the Proton e.MAS 7, to reach Malaysian roads in the near future.
