Mercedes-Benz Fans, The Wait Is Over! Mercedes-Benz has finally pulled the wraps off the all-new C-Class EV.
As the fully electric successor to the brand's best-selling model line, it doesn't just come with an impressive 762 km WLTP range — it also inherits top-tier technology from the S-Class, aiming to redefine the premium electric sedan segment.

The new C-Class EV adopts Mercedes-Benz's next-generation design language, featuring a sleek GT-style silhouette with an impressive drag coefficient of just 0.22 Cd — a key factor in maximising efficiency and range.
Retro Shield Grille: The front end is a real head-turner, showcasing a modern reinterpretation of the classic chrome grille that gives the car a distinctive and premium presence.

Animated Lighting: The closed-off grille incorporates 1,050 individual backlight points that create dynamic and emotional light animations when the vehicle is locked, unlocked, or charging.

Storage: Thanks to its dedicated EV architecture, the C-Class EV features a 101-litre front trunk, commonly known as a Frunk. This is perfect for Malaysian owners who need convenient space to store charging cables or small groceries on daily drives.

The showstopper inside the new C-Class EV is the 39.1-inch seamless MBUX Hyperscreen that stretches across the entire dashboard.
Matrix Backlight Tech: Powered by over 1,000 independent LEDs, the Hyperscreen delivers crystal-clear visuals for the driver and a dedicated entertainment screen for the front passenger, creating a truly immersive and luxurious cabin experience.

Sky Control: The panoramic roof is divided into nine independent zones and features 162 illuminated stars, creating a beautiful "starry sky" effect inside the cabin. For Malaysia's hot climate, the ability to individually adjust these light zones is a welcome functional luxury.

MB.OS & AI: The C-Class EV is equipped with the MB.OS operating system. Integrated with ChatGPT 4o, Google, and Microsoft AI, the "Hey Mercedes" voice assistant now behaves like a real companion. It supports natural multi-turn conversations and features short-term memory.

Charging: Built on an 800V architecture, it supports up to 330 kW DC fast charging. Just 10 minutes is all it takes to add 325 km of range.
Power: Paired with a two-speed transmission, the powertrain delivers 360 kW (approximately 489 hp), enabling 0–100 km/h acceleration in 4 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h.
Chassis: The vehicle comes standard with AIRMATIC air suspension and rear-axle steering with up to 4.5 degrees of angle, reducing the turning circle to 11.2 metres for enhanced manoeuvrability in urban environments.

The premium electric sedan segment in Malaysia is rapidly intensifying, with strong contenders including the BMW i4, Tesla Model 3, and the upcoming Audi A6 e-tron.
With a 762 km WLTP range, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class EV effectively eliminates range anxiety — particularly for long-distance "balik kampung" journeys. If Mercedes-Benz Malaysia can accelerate local assembly (CKD) at its Pekan plant, the model is well-positioned to reclaim its dominance in the local executive sedan market.
