Zhongce, Linglong, and Shuangxing Selected for National First Batch of Benchmarks!

On May 28th, at the “2026 BRICS New Industrial Revolution Partnership Forum” held in Xiamen, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially released the first batch of Overseas Smart Factory Case Collections. Only 13 enterprise benchmark factories were selected nationwide, with the tire industry strongly occupying 3 seats. Zhongce, Linglong, and Shuangxing's overseas factories listed together, marking the formal transformation of Chinese tire intelligence manufacturing from "product output" to "technical standard output".


Linglong Tire: European Full-Process Intelligence Benchmark, Cutting into High-end Supply Chain

The Linglong Serbia Factory is the first full-process intelligent factory built in Europe by the Chinese tire industry and is also the largest greenfield investment project in Serbia to date. The factory deeply integrates technologies such as AI, Industrial Big Data, and Robotics, achieving full-process automation. In terms of cross-border collaboration, Linglong built a data, business, and value flow collaboration network between “China HQ – Europe Factory”, with surprising results: single tire production cycle compressed to 22 minutes, delivery time dropped suddenly from 35 days to 5 days, workforce optimized from about 5000 to 2200 people. Relying on hard-core quality, the factory quickly passed audits by car companies such as Volkswagen, Audi, BMW and obtained Ford Q1 certification, becoming profitable within half a year of production. After the phase II expansion, it will support green projects such as recycled rubber and photovoltaics, with water reuse rate exceeding 90%, achieving deep integration of intelligence manufacturing and low carbon.


Shuangxing Tire: Modular High-efficiency Replication, Single-shift Capacity Soars 150%

The Shuangxing Cambodia Smart Factory has an annual production of 8.5 million high-performance radial tires. The factory achieves full-process data connectivity with ERP and MES as the core. Its biggest highlight is the self-developed MEP Intelligent Information Matching System, which overcomes the full-process automation difficulties of liquid/powder raw materials, with single-shift capacity soaring 150%. At the same time, the factory adopts a “Modular Intelligence Manufacturing System”, efficiently replicating mature domestic experience overseas, and built a suitable overseas informatization path. Data shows that the factory's production efficiency increased by about 40%, operating costs reduced by about 30%, defect rate decreased by about 30%, energy consumption per unit product reduced by more than 30%, and safety accident rate significantly reduced by 93.3%.


Zhongce Rubber: Thailand Base Builds High-performance Radial Tire Intelligence Support

The Zhongce Thailand High-performance Radial Tire Smart Factory was selected together this time, demonstrating the hard-core strength of leading enterprises in overseas layout. As the core support for Zhongce's overseas capacity, this factory achieved a double leap in production efficiency and product quality through advanced intelligence systems and digital management, providing solid assurance for the enterprise to stand firm in Southeast Asia and radiate to the global market.

Industry experts point out that the 3 major tire factories package and output manufacturing models, technical equipment, and management experience in the form of “mother factories”. This not only hedges geopolitical and tariff risks and layouts globally nearby, but overseas data can also feed back to domestic production line iteration. Chinese tires are now contributing the “Chinese Solution” to the global manufacturing industry, walking out a new path of high-quality going global.
