At the ongoing 2026 Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (2026 KLIMS), GWM Malaysia has previewed the Haval H7 Hi4 PHEV, alongside the Ora 5 HEV. If you’re keeping track, the H7 Hi4 PHEV is almost a direct rival to the Jetour T2 i-DM.

In the Haval H7 Hi4 PHEV, the combined system output is rated at 370 PS and 750 Nm, enabling a 0-100 km/h time of 6.2 seconds. Pure electric driving range is up to 150 km CLTC, with the combined range exceeding 1,000 km.

The H7 measures 4,800mm long, 1,950mm wide, and 1,843mm tall on a 2,738mm wheelbase. Design highlights include a square fortress-inspired grille, mortise-and-tenon square headlights, and crystal facet tail lights.

Off-road credentials include a 25-degree approach angle, 32-degree departure angle, 20.1-degree breakover angle, 580mm wading depth, and an electronically controlled rear differential lock.

Roslan Abdullah, Chief Operating Officer of GWM Malaysia, also added, “What makes these previews important is not just the products themselves; they reflect the direction of our portfolio in Malaysia. The Ora 5 HEV represents connected and lifestyle-led mobility, while the Haval H7 Hi4 PHEV expands our SUV proposition into an electrified and versatile space.
