KLIMS 2026: Bye 7-seater, hello 7 boxes – This is the Perodua Aruz Space Concept

Have you ever woke up one fine day and thought to yourself that having seven seats in the Perodua Aruz is just too mainstream and you would prefer to haul stuff instead?

Enter the Perodua Aruz Space Concept, currently on display at the Perodua boot at the ongoing 2026 Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (2026 KLIMS).

On this concept car, Perodua has ripped out the rear seats of the Aruz, creating a two-seater panel van that could rival vans such as the Nissan NV200 or Daihatsu Gran Max. Furthermore, the Aruz Space Concept also gains sliding rails that aid loading and unloading items into the van.

Adding to the “Space” part of the name are enlarged cubby spaces lined across both inner part of the rear cargo space.

No word on what powertrain the Perodua Aruz Space gets, but we reckon it’s the same as the regular passenger-hauling variant that offers a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that does 102 PS and 133 Nm, routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission.

The regular Perodua Aruz is priced between RM 72,900 for the 1.5X variant to RM 77,900 for the 1.5 AV variant.
