Perodua QV-E outright purchase now RM 87,499: Limited-time Malaysian EV offer

Perodua has announced that due to an increase in parts localization, they have managed to reduce the price of the Perodua QV-E.

This is the new price:

• Perodua QV-E with battery pack: RM 93,999
• Perodua QV-E with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS): RM 69,999 + RM 215 with tax for 9 years

“Perodua and its local vendors have been able to manufacture a significant number of parts locally, and this means that we can further protect local jobs while be less dependent on foreign technology and
supply chains,” Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad said.

“However, for a limited time, we will introduce a special price (effective immediately) to help with the increase in the cost of living,” Dato’ Sri Zainal said.

He explained that during that limited time, Perodua will give a special price

• Perodua QV-E with battery pack: RM 87,499
• Perodua QV-E with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS): RM 64,499 + RM 215 with tax for 9 years

This offer will end on 30-September 2026.

“For those who wants to buy the QV-E on outright purchase, Perodua does offer to buy the battery when comes the time to dispose of it (the battery),” Dato’ Sri Zainal said.

As for existing QV-E customers, they will be given a special refund, and they will be contacted by their respective sales advisors soon.

He said the existing QV-E customers will see their monthly BAAS fee reduced to RM215 per month from RM 275 previously. The new monthly payment of RM 215 will come into effect on their next payment cycle.
