At the ongoing 2026 Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (2026 KLIMS), much of the visitors to Perodua’s booth would be focused on the Perodua C2 Concept, but hiding in plain sight, is what we believe could be a teaser of the next-gen Perodua Myvi.
Here’s why.

The next-gen Perodua Myvi, in-line with current Perodua models, would most likely utilize the DNGA-B platform. The other DNGA-B-based model that Perodua (and Daihatsu) helped to develop the AC100-generation Toyota Vios.

And that notion is further cemented by the bits and pieces of the teaser car – the A- and B-pillars look similar to the AC100-generation Vios. Furthermore, the front bonnet line appears to be similar, if not identical, to the Vios.

Even bits of the side profile of the next-gen Myvi appear similar to the Vios, further emphasizing the similarities between the two models.

With all said and done, the next-gen Myvi is definitely happening soon – the current D20N / D51A model is a tad bit long in the tooth, having launched way back in 2017.
