Proton Saga MC3 or Proton eMas 5 for just RM 78? You’d better believe it

You read the title right – you can now purchase the Proton Saga MC3 for just RM 78. No, this isn’t a late April’s Fool joke.

In actuality, this is the result of a new partnership between Proton and Sunway Tiny Toys, which sees the latter introducing 1/64 scale models of the Proton Saga MC3 and Proton eMas 5. The two scale models are part of the Cerita Malaysia Kita initiative, held in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2026.

“The Proton Saga has long held a special place in the hearts of Malaysians, while the Proton eMas 5 represents an exciting new direction for the brand and the country’s mobility landscape,” said Dato’ Ir. Abdul Rashid Musa, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Proton.

“By turning these vehicles into collectible scale models, we hope to create another way for Malaysians to connect with Proton. These are not just miniature cars; they represent the memories, ambitions and progress that have shaped our journey as a national automotive brand.”
