Proton’s official distributor in Singapore, Vincar Group, has just launched the new 2026 Proton eMas 5 in the country.

The sole variant there is similar to our eMas 5 Premium variant, priced at SGD 158,888 (~RM 501k). That said, buyers of the eMas 5 in Singapore can benefit from one-year of free charging credits and SGD 5,000 ownership benefits.

Similar to our eMas 5, our neighbours down south get their car with a 40.16-kWh CATL-sourced lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, capable of delivering up to 325 km under the WLTP test cycle.

DC fast charging goes up to a just 53 kW, but due to the battery’s modest capacity, it takes just 21 minutes to charge from 30% to 80% state-of-charge (SoC). AC charging goes up to 11 kW.

Power comes from a rear-mounted electric motor that outputs 85 kW (116 PS) and 150 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-50 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds.

The rest of the SG-spec eMas 5 is lock, stock, and barrel to our car, including the Atlas Auto-powered infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 70-litre frunk, 32 storage compartments, and rear A/C vents.

Back home, the Proton eMas 5 is now locally-assembled (CKD) and is priced between RM 56,800 (Prime) to RM 69,800 (Premium).
