Suzuki Fronx, Suzuki Jimny now available via Flux subscriptions; starting from RM 2,225, inclusive of maintenance, road tax, and insurance

Suzuki Cars Malaysia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with vehicle subscription platform Flux, allowing Malaysians to subscribe to selected Suzuki models instead of purchasing them outright.

The partnership sees the Suzuki Fronx and Suzuki Jimny AllGrip Plus become the first models available through Flux, giving customers an alternative to traditional vehicle ownership with a single monthly subscription fee.

Rather than taking out a conventional hire purchase loan, subscribers will have access to a vehicle with insurance, road tax and maintenance bundled into one monthly payment.

Naza Eastern Motors CEO Mohd Rizal Jailan said the partnership recognises that while vehicle ownership remains the goal for many Malaysians, there is increasing demand for more flexible mobility solutions.

He added that Flux representatives will also be stationed at Suzuki dealerships nationwide, allowing showroom visitors to compare purchasing a vehicle with subscribing to one.

"Not every customer who visits a Suzuki showroom is ready for a traditional purchase, and that conversation should not have to end there," Rizal said.

Flux founder and CEO Aziz Ayman said consumer attitudes towards vehicle ownership are changing, citing research indicating that more than 60% of Malaysian car buyers are now open to subscribing to a vehicle instead of taking out a loan.

Following the signing of the MoU, both companies will begin rolling out the initial fleet of Suzuki vehicles on the Flux platform, alongside joint marketing campaigns across digital channels and authorised Suzuki dealerships.

To mark both the partnership and Malaysia's 69th Merdeka celebration, Flux is offering a 69% discount on the first and final month's subscription for selected 24- to 36-month plans until September 6, 2026.

Under the promotion, the Suzuki Fronx 1.5 Hybrid is available from RM 690 for the discounted first and final month instead of the usual RM 2,225 monthly fee, representing a total saving of RM3,070.

Meanwhile, the Suzuki Jimny AllGrip Plus is offered from RM 1,016 instead of RM3,278 for those same discounted months, with total savings of RM 4,524.
