BYD has revealed more details about its upcoming flagship sedan, the Great Han, ahead of its official debut at the Chengdu Motor Show on 21 August.
The latest information, shared by BYD Sales General Manager Lu Tian on social media on 30 July, highlights the model's flagship positioning, with impressive dimensions, driving range and performance.

The Great Han continues BYD's "Dragon Face" design language. Up front, a low-slung, aggressive stance perfectly balances sporty energy with an imposing, commanding presence.

Its side profile features long, flowing lines paired with 21-inch multi-spoke wheels, giving it the elegant posture of a high-end executive sedan.

In terms of dimensions, the Great Han boasts true full-size luxury (D-segment) dimensions:
These dimensions translate to an incredibly spacious cabin.
As always, the Great Han delivers exactly what BYD is best at, launching with both EV and PHEV options to suit every driver.

The new model features BYD's second-generation Blade Battery and flash charging technology.
RWD variant: Delivers a maximum CLTC range of up to 1,008 km, perfectly balancing performance and long-distance usability.
AWD variant: 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of 270 km/h, while still offering an impressive CLTC range of 880 km.

Supported by ultra-fast charging capabilities, the Great Han effectively eliminates range anxiety with its rapid charging speeds.
BYD has already built a solid track record in Malaysia with models like the Atto 3, Dolphin, and Seal.
While there is no official word on whether the Great Han will head to our shores, this flagship represents the absolute pinnacle of BYD's tech.
