2027 BYD Seal 06 interior: Clean, minimalist and tech-focused

For Malaysians, two important details are worth noting:

• The BYD Seal 06 mentioned here is not the Seal 6 EV offered in our market. The latter is sold as the Qin L EV in China. These are two entirely different model lines.
• Due to differing market classification standards, what is defined as a B-segment vehicle in China (e.g., Honda Accord, Toyota Camry) is classified as a D-segment vehicle in Malaysia.

A Masterclass in Minimalism

The new car keeps its familiar wrap-around cockpit, complete with a three-spoke steering wheel and a large floating touchscreen.

However, the designers have cleaned up the details.

The dashboard now gets a deep black trim piece, and the digital instrument cluster is flush and built right into the dash. Over on the center console, the layout looks much sharper—it keeps the cup holders and wireless charging pad but gets rid of any cluttered lines.

For younger buyers who prefer clean, tech-focused interiors, this straightforward setup will definitely look a lot more appealing.

Subtle exterior tweaks and a big power upgrade

On the outside, the 2027 Seal 06 gets a cleaner front end. The air intakes have been slightly reshaped to blend with the slim LED headlights, giving the car a more aggressive, low-slung stance.

Under the hood, the car offers two single-motor options producing 120 kW and 240 kW—a noticeable jump from the current model. It will continue to use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs.
