OMODA & JAECOO (O&J) has firmly established itself as a major force in the Malaysian automotive market. In just over a year since its official launch, the brand has achieved a significant milestone — surpassing 30,000 cumulative vehicle sales in Malaysia.

The brand's growth has been exceptional. In 2025, OMODA & JAECOO recorded a remarkable 153% year-on-year sales growth, successfully climbing into the Top 3 Non-National Automotive Brands in Malaysia — an impressive feat for such a new entrant in this highly competitive market.
"This accomplishment is a shared success. It is made possible by the unwavering support of our partners, stakeholders, and most importantly, our loval customers. Their trust has been the driving force behind our continued growth and momentum," said Chris Tan, representative for OMODA & JAECOO Malaysia.

The brand's success stems from its dual-brand strategy that caters to different customer segments:
The local line-up has since expanded to include the J5, C9 PHEV, J7 PHEV, J8, and C9, covering a wide spectrum from stylish B-segment crossovers to flagship luxury SUVs.

OMODA & JAECOO has demonstrated serious long-term commitment to Malaysia through local assembly (CKD) operations in Shah Alam and a rapidly expanding network of nearly 50 dealerships nationwide. The brand has also partnered with Touch 'n Go to equip all new vehicles with factory-fitted RFID tags, preparing customers for the future Multi-Lane Fast Flow (MLFF) toll system.
Having crossed the 30,000-unit milestone, OMODA & JAECOO is accelerating its shift toward electrification. With the launches of the OMODA E5 EV and J7 PHEV, the brand is well-aligned with Malaysia's sustainability goals. More Super Hybrid System (SHS) models are also on the horizon, positioning O&J to further strengthen its leadership in the non-national segment.
