Proton e.MAS 5 is Malaysia’s Best-Selling EV in January 2026

Pro-Net, Proton’s new energy arm, has confirmed that 3,068 units of the Proton e.MAS 5 were delivered in January 2026 — making it Malaysia’s best‑selling electric vehicle for the month.

The model secured a 49.2% market share in the BEV segment and 4.5% of total national vehicle sales, also placing it among the top five best‑selling passenger cars in Malaysia.
