2026 BYD Atto 3 gets Gemilang Blue in conjunction with Merdeka Day celebration, from RM 124,800

In conjunction with the nation's upcoming 69th Merdeka Day celebrations, BYD Malaysia has introduced a new Gemilang Blue colour for the 2026 BYD Atto 3. 

As part of BYD's Merdeka Dreans Deal, the Gemilang Blue BYD Atto 3 will be priced at RM 124,800 - market a slight discount from the original RM 138,800 price. Yes - this shade of blue is exclusive for the top-spec Premium variant; the entry-level Ultra variant won't be offered with this colour.

Barring the new colour, the rest of the Gemilang Blue BYD Atto 3 should be identical to the recently-launbched 2026 BYD Atto 3, particularly the Premium trim. 

Power comes from a rear-mounted electric motor that does 230 kW (313 PS) and 380 Nm, juiced by a 74.88-kWh BYD Blade Battery. Under the NEDC cycle, BYD says that the Atto 3 Premium returns up to 600 km, with the 0-100 km/h sprint taking just 5.5 seconds. 

The rear-mounted electric motor hints at the upgraded electrical architecture, as the BYD Atto 3 Premium now accepts up to 220 kW of DC fast charging - double of the Ultra variant. To note, the charging port has also been relocated to the rear right side of the car.
