The organisers have released the floor plan for this year's Chengdu Motor Show, which will take place from 21 to 30 August at Western China International Expo City.

The 29th edition will cover 220,000 square metres, with nearly 120 major car brands and around 1,600 vehicles taking part. The passenger car displays will span 11 halls, covering everything from luxury flagships to electric sedans.

New models: BYD will take over Hall 9, where its new flagship D-segment sedan Great Han is expected to make an appearance. The production version of the iCAUR V25 is also due to be shown, alongside a number of other new models making their debut or going on sale.
Driver assistance: Huawei-backed HIMA and Xiaomi will be among the brands showing their latest driver assistance and in-car technology alongside established carmakers.
More electrified models: Petrol cars, plug-in hybrids and EVs will all feature across the show, reflecting the growing range of powertrains now available in the Chinese market.

For Malaysian buyers, the Chengdu Motor Show offers an early look at some of the new models that could eventually make their way here. Stay tuned for more updates from the show as they happen.
