2026 Honda WR-V updated in Malaysia; no more S variant, 17" rims for all, interior updates, new colours - from RM 95k

Honda Malaysia has launched the refreshed Honda WR-V, bringing a number of styling and equipment upgrades to its smallest SUV. Prices now start from RM94,900, with the range streamlined to three variants – E, V and RS.

The E is priced at RM94,900, followed by the V at RM98,900, while the range-topping RS costs RM104,900, all on-the-road without insurance.

One of the more significant changes is the adoption of 17-inch black alloy wheels as standard across all three variants. The sportier RS receives a new black front grille and can also be specified in a new Two-Tone Blazing Red Pearl finish, which pairs the red bodywork with a contrasting roof.

There are more substantial changes inside. The refreshed WR-V is now available with a 10-inch Display Audio system, incorporating wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The RS gets several additional goodies, including red ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger and a new 360-degree camera. Honda has also introduced upgraded leather seats with red stitching, along with a redesigned dashboard featuring Dark Steel accents, although equipment availability varies depending on variant.

Practicality remains one of the WR-V's selling points. Boot capacity stands at 380 litres, while the 60:40 split-folding rear seats allow for Honda's Utility, Long and Tall configurations depending on the type of cargo being carried.

There are no changes under the bonnet. All variants continue to use Honda's 1.5-litre naturally aspirated DOHC i-VTEC four-cylinder petrol engine, producing 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque and driving through a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Honda Sensing also remains standard across the entire range, while Honda Connect telematics continues to be offered.

The facelift arrives just over three years after the WR-V made its Malaysian debut in 2023. According to Honda Malaysia, more than 24,000 units of the small SUV have been put on Malaysian roads since its introduction.

Five exterior colours are available, comprising the new RS-exclusive Two-Tone Blazing Red Pearl, Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Stellar Diamond Pearl and Blazing Red Pearl.
