Aston Martin is bringing three special-edition DB12 S models to this year's Monterey Car Week, created by its Q bespoke division to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
The three DB12 S VMF editions pay homage to Aston Martin's racing heritage, drawing inspiration from the marque's works DB2 racers that competed in 1951. The cars will make their debut on Wednesday, 12 August, as part of Aston Martin's Monterey Car Week programme on California's Monterey Peninsula.

The three DB2s, all carrying "VMF" registration plates, were a familiar sight on the racing circuit at the time, distinguished by their distinctive contrasting grilles.

Seventy-five years on, Aston Martin is reviving that connection with the three DB12 S VMF editions, bringing the spirit of those original race cars into the modern era.
All three DB12 S VMF models are finished in Carbon Black, with each car distinguished by an accent colour corresponding to its VMF number. VMF 63 features Rosso Red, VMF 64 comes with Speed Yellow accents, while VMF 65 is finished with Elwood Blue.

The exterior is also set apart by a number of bespoke details, including a "75" anniversary badge on the front wings, painted carbon-fibre side-sill inserts and a painted carbon-fibre Aeroblade active rear spoiler.

Inside, the bespoke treatment continues with a number of details designed to tie the cars back to their racing-inspired exterior.
The front seatbacks feature embroidered Aston Martin wing badges in contrasting colours matched to the exterior accents, while the rear seats carry circular "75" anniversary emblems.
The start/stop rotary control and gearshift paddle ends are finished in the same accent colours, while bespoke sill plaques draw inspiration from the original DB2.
Alongside the global debut of the three DB12 S VMF editions, Aston Martin will also showcase several of its latest models at Monterey Car Week, including the Valhalla supercar and the high-performance S models — the DB12 S, Vantage S and DBX S.

The brand's dedicated exhibition space, The House of Aston Martin, will also host a limited-edition Vanquish created to mark the 25th anniversary of the original V12 Vanquish.
For enthusiasts drawn to performance and exclusivity, the upcoming DB12 S VMF editions offer more than a tribute to the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. They bring together Aston Martin's racing heritage and the bespoke craftsmanship of Q.
