Tesla delivers over 486,000 vehicles in Q3 2026, production tops 464,000

Tesla has released its global production and delivery figures for the third quarter of 2026, reporting more than 464,000 vehicles produced and over 486,000 deliveries worldwide.

According to Tesla, its energy storage business also performed strongly during the quarter, with 13.7 GWh of energy storage products deployed.

Tesla has also announced a series of model upgrades and promotional offers for its China-market vehicles. These offers are available in China only:

New screen and interior options

From 1 October, all current Model 3 variants sold in China come with a new 16-inch high-resolution touchscreen as standard. Tesla has also added a light grey premium interior as an optional choice.

RMB 5,000 purchase discount

Customers who place an order by 31 October 2026 can receive an RMB 5,000 discount on the final payment, which can be combined with Tesla's autumn promotional package.

V2L comes to Model 3 and Model Y

Tesla has also introduced Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality across all current Model 3 and Model Y variants sold in China.

The system can deliver up to 2.2 kW of power, allowing owners to run electrical appliances outdoors, such as when camping, or use the vehicle as a backup power source in an emergency.
