Tesla FSD (Supervised) now live in 12 markets, still no sign of Malaysia launch

Tesla has updated the list of markets where its Full Self-Driving (Supervised) system is currently available, and Malaysia is still not on the list.

The latest update lists 12 countries and regions:

North America: US, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico

Oceania: Australia and New Zealand

Asia-Pacific: South Korea

Europe: the Netherlands, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark and Belgium

Back in May this year, Tesla announced on social media that FSD (Supervised) had gone live in several markets around the world.

At the time, the initial rollout covered markets across North America, Asia-Pacific and Europe, including the US, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, China, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, the Netherlands and Lithuania.

With Malaysia still absent from the list, local Tesla drivers will have to wait for regulatory approval and the necessary groundwork before FSD (Supervised) becomes available here.

What is FSD (Supervised)?

FSD (Supervised) is Tesla's more advanced driver-assistance system.

The system can assist with city driving, following traffic, lane changes and intersections, as well as navigating along a selected route.

Compared with Tesla's standard driver-assistance system, FSD (Supervised) can take over more of the driving, giving it a driving experience closer to higher-level automated driving.

Tesla first rolled out FSD (Supervised) in a small number of markets, led by the US, before gradually expanding it to other countries and regions.
