JMC Vigus Pro delivers accessible low-rev torque for everyday pickup duties

Measuring just over 5.3 metres long and 1.9 metres wide, the JMC Vigus Pro has the substantial footprint expected of a full-size working pickup. Its 1.835-metre height and 3.085-metre wheelbase give the body long, upright proportions and a clear road presence.

The five-seat cabin mixes practical controls with useful everyday equipment. A genuine-leather multifunction steering wheel, synthetic-leather upholstery, an 8-inch centre display with Bluetooth and a colour instrument screen make the interior suitably equipped for commuting and work use. Manual air-conditioning keeps operation straightforward.

The 2.0-litre turbo-diesel produces 340 Nm from 1,500 to 2,600 rpm, putting its pulling force in the lower part of the rev range where a pickup commonly needs it. Output is rated at 139 hp, while the eight-speed automatic provides a broad selection of ratios for regular driving and load-carrying duties.

A 3.085-metre wheelbase and 1.905-metre body width create a generous physical base for the five-seat, four-door layout. The long 5.305-metre body also gives the JMC Vigus Pro the scale expected from a pickup designed to combine passenger accommodation with working utility.

Core safety equipment includes electronic stability control, traction control, ABS, brake-force distribution and brake assist, giving the driver useful support during braking and changes in grip. Driver and front-passenger airbags provide frontal protection, while the child-seat interface helps with secure family-seat installation.

The diesel powertrain is paired with a 68-litre fuel tank, a practical capacity for a pickup used across longer daily routes or between urban and outstation jobs. It also reduces the need to plan refuelling around a small tank.
